The Canada Council for the Arts has awarded the Throw Collective a grant to produce a spoken word CD! The album will be recorded live in October and released in January and will feature a sort of Best Of Throw Slam 2008.

This will be the biggest project the collective has undertaken yet and we'll need all the volunteer support we can get. If you'd like to help out in any way, just leave a message on the forums. We especially need some dedicated publicity representatives. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how art reaches the masses and how to navigate and utilize media outlets – an essential skill for any artist.
