SLAM FORMAT

The slam will unfold in our standard and generally magical format. 12 slots will be available for slammers — want to secure yours in advance? Just post on the event wall and we’ll set one aside one for you! We will reserve a maximum of 6 slam spots in advance – but you can always show up on the night of the event (you must arrive by 7:30 p.m.), where we’ll conduct a draw to determine which of the interested poets will score the last six spots. Keep in mind that your spot is only reserved once someone from the Collective responds with a confirmation.

OPEN MIC

We’ll also have 4 open mic spots available for those who don’t want to slam (be brave, we will love you), with two spots prioritized for Francophone poets.

QUESTIONS?

If you have a question, leave comment on our Facebook wall and a Collective member will respond. If you’re not a Facebooker, email media@throwcollective.com.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PERFORMERS >> ARRIVE BY 7:30 PM (SERIOUSLY)

In order to guarantee your open mic or slam spot, whether your signed-up in advance or want to participate in the draw on the night of the show, you MUST arrive at the venue by 7:30 p.m. (no exceptions).
